FRIENDS OF SHAKESPEARE IS BACK!!!
After being gone for many years, our classic event FRIENDS OF SHAKESPEARE DINNERS is back and updated for 2022!! This is an exceptional opportunity for YOU to make a BIG difference!!
We are asking our friends to host a "Gathering"- with your friends, colleagues, family, anyone! - between October 3-8, 2022. The “Gathering” could be anything; dinner, picnic, frisbee competition, poker night, a spa day, pizza and movie, fishing tournament, dance party, game night, pool cookout, anything that you can think of actually!!

You serve as the host, create the event and invite others to join you – formal invitations, emails, phone calls, posters, etc. whatever is YOU!! You inform your guests there is a fee to attend or your event could simply be by donation – all proceeds go to Nebraska Shakespeare. Somewhere during your event, you can share information about Nebraska Shakespeare (which we can provide you!) and let your guests know that their generosity will be combined with that of many others to create ONE huge fundraiser to continue the work of building community, creating belonging and offering world-class professional theater for FREE!

On Sunday, October 9, we will be hosting a reception for all the “gathering” hosts/hostesses! Meet the others who created a “Gathering”, share stories of your events, meet other members of the Nebraska Shakespeare family, and bring along the funds you raised!!

Whether you are in Omaha or Nebraska, New York or California, if you are in London or even Japan, this event of “Gatherings” is one that requires you to be exactly wherever you want to be!!! This is a great event that everyone can get involved in!!

In years past, FRIENDS OF SHAKESPEARE DINNERS was a hugely successful event, rising incredibly important funds to continue our work! While we know it has been more than a few years since this event happened, we know that our Nebraska Shakespeare family has said this is one of the things of the past they would like to see return! Whether you are a longtime Nebraska Shakespeare family member or wholly finding us for the first time, we hope you will register today and hold a “Gathering” to support the work we are doing at Nebraska Shakespeare!
